The VantedgePoint Gateway is central to the WSN and is well suited for industrial applications. It provides the control and functionality needed for high performance applications that require data aggregation and transparent WAN interfacing. There are two types of VantedgePoint Gateways: the Remote Telemetry Gateway, which provides GMS/GPRS cellular network connectivity, and the Linux Gateway, which provides additional LAN/WAN interfaces running an embedded Linux Operating System.
The partnering of the Gateway and the RTC results in a highly scalable and deployable wireless sensor network. This platform can allow anyone to benefit from wireless technology.
Features:
- Ethernet, USB and Serial RS-232 WAN Interfaces
- IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee® Wireless Standard
- ARM 9 Microprocessor
